Since everything is new and I have not crawled out of my corner in a long while, let me chat a bit about myself.
I have been a member since my child was 6 months old, they are now 20 and a sophomore in college!
I was handed the Eye of the World senior year of HS by my classmate Caleb Brown, and I have loved this series ever since. (No, I have not read AMoL, don't ask)
My hometown is Louisville/Kentuckiana, but I recently moved to South Carolina. I am so far loving it here, and it's so nice to be away from my past.
I used to sew extensively, but I think that that hyperfixation has run its course, and now I only sew and cosplay with my favorite brother Chris and we are Foundlings Cosplay.
Being Red for me means that we do what must be done even at great personal or widespread cost. Reds in the books came together and stepped into a widening void to spare as many lives as they could, by any means they could. I think it took the AS in the Breaking great courage and personal cost to step away from family, friends, and loved ones and do what must be done. And for me that is what Red is. I have had many times in my life where I have been separated from those I loved for reasons that they came to understand later in life, and for some they will never know, but I stepped into that breach so that they did not have to.
And I would choose to do so again.
Anyway! Lets get back to more lighthearted banter. I loooove memes and puns and dad jokes. What are some of your favorite?
