My favourite brainless joke formats are not Tower appropriate probably
and then I have Pinterest boards full of tweets & tumblr screenshots. I KNOW there's dad jokes I like but none of them come to me 
recently I have been cracking up over "Thotide Tidey-Tidey" [apparently not a true story so it is a joke]
"A member of parliament, Thomas Massey-Massey {highlighted}, was introducing a bill to change the name of Christmas to Christ-tide, on the grounds that mass is a Catholic festival, inappropriate for a Protestant country. He was interrupted by a member opposite who asked him how he would like to be called ‘Thotide Tidey-Tidey’. The bill was forgotten in the uproar."
