Woah. I have so many feelings. I would honestly watch a New Spring animated series, but I am not sure about the idea of making a totally new story.

Not seeing a good run lately with tv show writers creating their own stories within worlds already existing in literature. So while I would bet against this being good, I'd love to be proven wrong, who doesn't want more good stories?

I am not sure about this. I am not a fan of animation to begin with. I would watch something based on New Spring but this seems to have a feel of Fanfiction, which in itself is not a bad thing but also not RJ.

I personally enjoy animation, and I like fanfiction when it is well written. My problem here, is that fanfiction is often written out of a genuine love of the world and characters, and purely for entertaining. When you mix that with the money it always feels kind of off to me. And as Silas pointed out, so far I haven’t seen many good shows that decide to go in that direction. I won’t pass a full judgement until I see it of course, I hope it will be good, but my expectations are not very high.
