The Blue Ajah would be more suited for Cyclops. He can get behind the whole causes and justice thing. Brown seem very dusty. Grey seems too talky. I bet the dry cleaning bill for the White's are of the "Tarmon Gai'don" variety. The Black seem to have better fringe beneifts and their outfits are the most slimming. The Green are kinda like guys anyways, so I think we could get along. Yellow definitely have the whole healing thing going for them, I guess. The Red? Oh man, the Red. I mean, really, they're in an infinite state of pms, blood thirsty as heck, and beat up baby kittens. Whoever decided putting them together in one Ajah and that being a good thing was drinking directly from Shayol Ghul's water hole. Crazy + crazy doesn't equal less crazy. It's no wonder they're the only Ajah to ever win the award for "Ajah in most need of a siesta."
Hmm, I'm going to rephrase that question as "If you could Warder for any Ajaha, which would it be?". That'll leave the out the awkward questions of why I'm looking into an all women sorority. :rolleyes
The amazing thing about not being super active on this site is the opportunity for live events. Even if you only post every once and a while and make it up to junior member (soldier or recruit), you still have the opportunity to attend any live events which are just one big weekend party with movies, hysterical auctions (how we raise money for charity and site costs), games, video games, and of course, lots of drinking, especially those scary greens!
I am in love with Clamp. I loved their Cardcaptor manga and Rayearth was cute (even if it should have just stopped after the first 3 volumes), and their newer artwork like in Blood+ is so amazing. They seem to have a hard time keeping their mangas "real". Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles is just so confusing... Ronin Warriors was a classic for me. Way amazing!!!
Emory tells me that they are looking at Los Angeles for the next Anni. I'm from Cali and it's been a while since I've been up to Big Bear. I guess I gotta get going on my posts. Emory's trying to get me trained here. Challenged me with quality over quantity. I've never been big with online communities. Even with the collector forums I visit. I'll give it my best shot, though. She really loves this place and the people here.
Interesting. I haven't met many people who know what X/1999 and Ronin Warriors are. X/1999 is still one of my favorite comics even though it was never finished and the animes never fully realized the complete storyline. I've always been really impressed with Clamp's art style. My sister and I love Ronin Warriors. I'm still into comics. Though I'm pretty selective on what I read. I recently picked up Courtney Crumrin which looks to be a good read. I tend to like the odd ball stuff.
I've also been enjoying the recent Marvel/DC comic movies. I'm a hugh Captain America fan. Loved The Avengers. Can't wait to see how they play this whole Phase 2 out.
Ah. So that was you. I remember Emory being so excited that week. It was after that years anni that she really pushed me to get moving on the books and this site. And when Emory commands it, what else could you do.*I guess we are frenemies. However, I think i can be more understanding. Just don't hit on my girlfriend and we'll be fine. ;-)As for anime, I've seen a l'm a big Gundam fan. Really, you can't go wrong with giant robots blowing stuff up. Gundam Seed and Gundam Seed Destiny have to be my favorites. Though I have watched some of the classic stuff. Full Metal Alchemist is really good. As well as Kenshin and Fullmetal Panic. I also love the Miyazaki films. Espically My Friend Toroto, Kiki's Delivery Service and Howl's Moving Castle. My favorite recent movie is Summer Wars. If you haven't seen it, you need to. It's an amazing movie. I'm still trying to get Emory to watch it.*Have you watched anything outside of the Miyazaki stuff
Have an awesome day!
Kayle
I've been a big fan of Cyclops and Gambit. But I'd have to say I'm more like Cyclops. A straight shooter, does things by the books kinda guy. Plus he wears the coolest glasses. Though I'm still working on the "shooting lasers from my eyes" bit.
Hi Anika. I'm Emory's friend Kayle. I hope you two didn't get into to much trouble over the weekend. It sound like this gathering was a blast. I'll plan on coming out next year.
As for my posting and becoming a citizen, I'll step it up. I did jump onto your Arrow thread, so I'm making progress.
It was a pleasure meeting you. Have an awesome week and don't forget to embrace your wolverine heritage!
