Without further ado, we'd like to introduce our TarValon.Net Patreon!

We're kicking it off with some easily achievable benefits for each membership tier for our initial launch. You can donate as little as a $1 each month or you can set your own monthly donation. Much like our Maintaining the Tower fundraiser, donations will help keep the community running and will be used for server and domain expenses, keeping us ad-free, advertising at JCon and through social media, etc.

After the first year, we'll review and see if we can add more benefits and expand, but since this is our first year, let's see how this goes!

I also want to note, I did compile all the feedback, comments and suggestions previously shared so we have that to easily reference. New ideas are also always welcome.

It isn't anything additional. If you're already a member of the site and on Discord, then you have the same access. We chose not to sync the bot and list it as a benefit instead.

If anyone new finds us on Patreon first, organically or through their search, the thought was that it may be something that would interest them as a perk not knowing details of the site beforehand. Then we'd pin/post a link to the Discord like we have on the boards.

If it's confusing, we can remove it and leave it as a Patron post instead or if anyone has any suggestions. I'm open! I figured we'd track and see if we get new members that way. If not, it may make sense to remove it or only list if there is an additional Discord perk.
