I'd like to start by saying thank you to @Lithiel Morn for the work she's done this past term in the position! But it is now time to hire again.
Overview
The MoN/R is an administrative position in the Department of Membership. This position focuses on guiding our Novices and Recruits in their first level as Tower Initiates. You may also be called upon to provide counsel to the Director of Membership and the Officers, if necessary.
Requirements
You must be a Tower Sworn. In the past we have asked for at least six months at this level. Time at the level is not a hard and fast rule but may be considered when looking at our applicants.
Knowledge of the Bylaws and Member Manual are a plus; if you do not already have a firm knowledge of them you will be asked to gain one.
Tact, diplomacy, and discretion are a must in this position, as you'll be privy to information that normal members are not!
Duties and Responsibilities
--Provide counsel to the administration as needed
--Manage the mentorship program.
--Provide the first line of defense when membership problems with novices and/or recruits arise
--Work with the Director and other membership admins when inter-group problems arise
--Moderate the associated forums for the position
--Build morale and activity within the groups
--Help to coordinate Tower Initiate plans to celebrate community-wide festivals and free days
--Work with the MoA/S to make sure that our Tower Initiates understand the site structure and how it works
--Anything I may have forgotten that deals with Novices/Recruits
