I'm Seo. I was introduced to this site at Dragon*Con last year, and I've only just gotten around to joining. I'm looking forward to interacting with other fans of the series I love! Currently, I'm a student in undergrad, studying mathematics and music, working to become a teacher, and my most major hobby is cosplay. I'm definitely hoping I can find a niche of cosplayers here.

As far as the other two suggested questions go, my favorite character (and current cosplay project) is Egwene al'Vere, because she goes from being the awkward romantic interest to becoming one of the most major authority figures in the series, and because her romance is not a major part of her character development. My favorite book/author besides the Wheel of Time would have to be the Historian, written by Elizabeth Kostova.

Thank you! I only really had one question, where can I read about the specifics of each Ajah? I obviously know their definitions in the books, but I'm guessing that differs greatly from their purpose on the site.

I do play- I'm a violinist, played since I was a toddler. I do also sing, a bit, and I know the basics of the ukulele. I'm planning on attending Jordan Con with a gleeman cloak, at least on the first day, for fun. Do you play an instrument?

Oh, wow! I have always wanted to play the violin but I never got the chance to learn. I play the piano but I am an amateur. You should definitely share picture os the cloak when it's ready. Are you gonna make it yourself?

As for your question, you have basically two ways to gain this knowledge One, you can ask our members, representing the different Ajahs and they will gladly share everything you want to know. Another way are the resources in our Library, where you can find more or less detailed info about the site Ajahs. For example

I am hoping I'll have the gleeman cloak done by Jordan Con, I am planning on making it myself using scraps from other cosplays. My main cosplays at Jordan Con will be Egwene and Sylphrena (from the Stormlight Archive).

Already bought my ticket, and I've booked a hotel room. I'm definitely going. On a related note, would anyone want to see the process for my Amyrlin stole that I'm working on? It's not exactly like the one described in the books, it looks more like wings than anything else.

Also, could anyone tell me what exactly the Green Ajah does on the site? I read the page on the wiki, but I'm still a bit fuzzy on the details.

The Historian is a fantastic book! I'm glad to see another fan. And yay for cosplay! I don't do it myself (yet) but there are plenty here who do. As you gain access to more forums (by becoming a Citizen, etc.) you'll see threads dedicated to fine arts including costuming and music. I'm sure you'll fit right in! I'd love to see pics of your Egwene and Sylphrena cosplays! The Sylph one is particularly exciting - I can imagine that one being a lot of fun. :joy

This one is probably best answered by one of the Green sisters - they can give you the most accurate view, albeit one that comes from within. Each group has its own personality and general temperament. You could message Roheryn Sedai if you want - she's the current Head of Ajah for Green.
