I can make this happen. It's not super high on my priority list, but it's also fairly easy to do if you know SQL (which I do) and have a properly formatted list of Names and Join Dates (which I do not). Looks like we have some volunteers for making a properly formatted file, though, so I'll reach out to someone (Jeffan or Arie, probably) with the proper formatting so that we can get this done.
So, Jeffan, if you're really volunteering for this, send an email to technology@tarvalon.net and officially volunteer for it, and I'll reply with the format I need the data in.
Yeah, I figured out a way to pull the data from the library for all the accounts that have it there. Then I'll need to fix any broken dates and then convert them to epoch time, and then update the appropriate rows in the forums, and then verify that they worked.
TLDR: it's probably not going to finish today, but we're getting a lot closer
Okay, for the 479 people who have a Library article, which has the spelling *exactly* match their board username, and also have their start date listed, the Joined dates now match what was in the Library.
I have a list of those who don't have dates in their Library articles and I have another list of those who either don't have an article, or it doesn't *exactly* match their board username. Those will take manual intervention, so I'll be passing them off to other people.
And Marrow, you're in the group I'm working on now. There was a group which was excluded from the original db query (57) which I'm working through now, to see which ones I'll be able to update (looks like most of them)
