WoT Top 10 moments!

when Mat realizes the Salidar Hall is ignoring Egwene so he goes out of his way to be respectful to her and remind them she is their leader.

That is a favourite of mine as well As well as many of the other moments mentioned above, like Dumai's Wells and the cleansing of Saidin.

But a few more has to be mentioned specifically:

1. Anything Egwene related after she was Raised to Amyrlin, but also the ceremony itself. "She had been prepared for anything, but her list of anything had never included THIS!" and also in her captivity in the Tower, where she brought down Elaida and the Seanchan by just being the person she had become. Especially when she, after the fact, speaks to the Tower Hall with such authority, despite many of them being a lot older than her.
2. "The Golden Crane flies for Tarmon Gaidon!" I wanted to have that as a signature, but I'm worried it is a rather big spoiler...
3. Moiraine telling the story of Manetheren. Such a break in the story and such a great delivery!
4. Rhuidean and the storyline of the Aiel. Some of the best prose ever written
5. Verin's revelation in TGS. "By the way, that dress you are wearing is green." 🤩👌 And of course, Egwene (again)using the very same tactic on Sheriam. "Are you wearing a red dress?" "No, of course not!"
6. The Battle of Emonds Field. Perrin is not my favourite character, but he has his moments, and this is one of them.
7. The Tower stands. I can't find the exact quote, but it is the one that says something like "It was shaken, had large holes, but it still stood."
8. Rand has some moments as well. “Cadsuane, do you believe that I could kill you? Right here, right now, without using a sword or the Power? Do you believe that if I simply willed it, the Pattern would bend around me and stop your heart? By . . . coincidence?” The way Rand handles Cadsuane towards the end is great, after she has poked at him so many times. Yes, he probably needed it, but it is still fun! Especially when you contrasts it to how he treats Moiraine after she comes back.
9. And of course Lan's final moment with Demandred

Rand has some moments as well. “Cadsuane, do you believe that I could kill you? Right here, right now, without using a sword or the Power? Do you believe that if I simply willed it, the Pattern would bend around me and stop your heart? By . . . coincidence?” The way Rand handles Cadsuane towards the end is great, after she has poked at him so many times. Yes, he probably needed it, but it is still fun

I love how flustered he makes her when he calls her " little sister" and goes on about being older than her.

I also love how that same argument doesn't work on Moiraine
