The Podcast team is looking for a new member! We have an amazing team for you to join, and right now we need some help with creating transcripts for each episode! The aim of the Tar Valon Talks Podcast is:

1. To have fun!
2. To promote The Wheel of Time and TarValon.Net to those within the TarValon.Net community and the wider Wheel of Time and fantasy community.
3. To provide a reliable release schedule for the audience.

With that in mind we are looking to hire members who would like to join the Tar Valon Talks Team. This is a newer team so the job description below may change as the team and podcast develop.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Collaborate on new content ideas on a regular basis.
• Compile show notes and descriptions for podcast episodes.
• Create and edit transcripts for episodes prior to release.

Expectations and Qualifications

• Must be a member in good standing. There is NO rank requirement for this position.
• Be confident discussing any and all Wheel of Time topics.
• Must be willing to spend 2+ hours per week at this position.
• Must be available for bi-weekly voice meetings with the Tar Valon Talks Team.
• Experience with podcast and/or media production is an advantage, but not required.
• Experience with social media and/or writing is an advantage, but not required

*** Important Note: The Tar Valon Talks Podcast WILL INCLUDE SPOILERS. Please include in your application whether you have either finished the full Wheel of Time Series OR don’t mind spoilers.

Oh sweet! I guess I must have just missed them. I did go looking for them, found the link from Apple, but noticed that it doesn't come through on Spotify. I think that's why I didn't see it at first.

Which episode(s) were you looking at? I just checked a few on spotify (desktop) and was able to get the transcription.

I found the issue. It's hyperlinked when I look at the Spotify mobile or desktop apps, but not when I look in Spotify web browser.

Ah ok, that makes sense. I don't think I can control how they format it across their platforms.

To be fair, most people probably aren't using the web browser. The transcripts have been mentioned here now, but I don't know that I've read about them elsewhere on the forums. I think it would make sense to update the first post in the sticky in General letting people know that they exist in case they missed it in the descriptions.
