That's easy, just look your boss dead in the eye and say "I'm sorry but I need to watch this episode a few more times so I may be a little bit distracted today. If you have a problem with that I'm sure I can arrange for you to be put into a Trolloc pot."

I have Big Feels about Siouan/Moiraine!! The scene of
Siuan going along with Moiraine’s exile request and swearing on the oath rod? Gave me marriage vow vibes.
and honestly? It gave me chills. I love this episode on so many levels.

It was one of the best tv episodes I've ever seen, no matter type of show.

Watching that episode with my partner, I near-screamed from happiness. To have such an explicit stated scene, leaving no doubt as to the nature of their relationship in private it healed something in me. And the
oath rod scene? Tears. Real, true tears

It was so beautifully done that I cried. No queer baiting, just beautiful, canon queerness from the get go. Oh I loved it so much.

I was very pleased but not surprised at the inclusiveness they’ve shown. I remember the days back in the 90s when it was a big deal for LGBT+ fandom to push Trek and others for representation. So now, part of me says, “of course”, why is this a big deal? And part of me rejoices in the progress we’ve made, but I still know there’s more to be done.

I'm also so glad they made the relationship between Siouan and moraine more about the relationship and less just an excuse to sex up a show with male gazey lesbianism. Just treating it like another relationship is so so wonderful of the writers!

I'm personally not a fan of the Moraine and Suian relationship as it appears in the show.

At the time they are colluding in finding and aiding the Dragon - something which could bring down the Amrylin or even the Tower, I don't believe book Moiraine or book Suian would have taken such a brazen risk in discovery. I understand their relationship in New Spring but at this point in the novel that was all done with. I am also not sure how they will pivot Moiraines relationship to Thom.

I always thought there was plenty or representation in the books without needing to alter the source material, although I much prefer the idea of Rand/Elayne/Avhienda/Min being in a relationship all together rather than Rand just having relationships with them separately. Especially Elayne/Avhienda, because I always get the vibes that they are attracted to each other in the books and have somewhate of an unrequited love. In fact on my first read through I always thought Avhienda only paired with Rand to stay closer to Elayne - and to have his baby as prophesised.

I also love how some of the cultures in WoT have different attitudes to sex and nudity, resulting in some funny scenes in the books - I dont feel they translated this well to the show, Rand and the EF5 have a very "conservative country bumbkin" outlook on the world in the books when exposed to more relaxed views, which i think they missed a little bit in the show (such as the Rand and Egwene hooking up in the Winespring Inn, just didn't feel in character to me.
