I think my current favorite is Tuon, but it changes all the time. I've also always had a soft spot for Egwene and Perrin. And Verin.
Thanks NymalaWelcome to the site, Riannoa! @Jaim al`Bearach and @Ealandrelle Melyma will be happy to see more Scots about.

Me too. Very much a gamer, less these days as I have 2 young kids. Also I love crochet & knitting. I find crochet easier but I persevere with knittingWelcome to TarValon.net! What else are you interested in besides the Wheel of Time series? In addition to our book forums, we have Discussion Hall forums for a variety of interests. My favorites are Gaming and Hand Crafts, but I might be a little biased.
Thanks AhmyraWElcome
Hmm I'd probably go for a small village in Altara. Not right by the sea, but close enough to make regular travel there a possibilityHmm.. I’ve always preferred the idea of living in Andor but it’s not by the sea. Even in Randland I’d have to live by the sea. So I’d give Saldaea a go. What about you?
Hi Cahalan I do mostly read fantasy but love sci-fi too. I’ll give most things a shot but always come back to those. I’ve just finished several books by Andrew Rowe that I’d very much recommend. Both series were top notch: “Arcane Ascension” & “The War of Broken Mirrors”. Also “The Chronicles of St Mary’s” by Jodi Taylor is pretty good too.Welcome, Riannoa - it's lovely to meet you! :welcome
Do you mostly read fantasy, or do you have other genres that you're into? Personally, I'm more of a horror fan myself, but the right fantasy setting will get me to read too. Which might just be a fancy way for me asking for any author recommendations because I'm heading into reading season (aka winter)
