The 2010 Robert Jordan Memorial Scholarship recipient has been chosen! The winner of the $500 scholarship award was selected by the Hall of the Tower based on the essay prompt, "How I plan to use my studies to become a Servant of All." With over 40 applicants, this year proved the most difficult to decide.
The 2010 winner is Christopher Lipnickas. Christopher is studying Psychology at Wichita State University, with future plans of becoming a substance abuse counselor. To read his winning essay, click here.
We are currently conducting an interview with Christopher to learn more about him and his plans. Check back for more details about this year's winner!
The Hall was so impressed with all of the essays this year that we decided to select scholarship finalists for 2010. We would like to share these essays as well, as each one shows the true spirit of being a Servant of All. Click here to read the finalist essays.
On behalf of TarValon.Net, Inc, I would like to extend my congratulations to Christopher and the 2010 finalists. We wish you all the best in your academic and professional pursuits!
