Loira has decided that with her current real life commitments, she doesn't feel able to give the Historian position the attention she feels it deserves and so has decided to step down.
Normally in this situation, I would put up an announcement asking people to apply to the position, but for the past few months Zimone has been acting as an unofficial historian and basically being doing most of the work I would want from this position, often before anyone else gets the chance. In this situation it would not be fair to pretend that all applicants would have a change of being considered when basically, as long as she applied, she would get the position, so I offered and she has accepted.
So, congratulations Zimone and thanks Loira, who has managed to do a lot over the past year.

Been watching all the work so this really comes as no surprise.
