That's the thing though ... Aginor and Balthamel weren't in stasis. They were imprisoned, but it was so close to the surface - to the pattern - that they still aged. I'm still trying to figure out how Ishy was able to break out on occasion, despite not being trapped at the edge.
I know this is a little off topic, but I've never read that quote from RJ before about how Aginor and Balthamel were "trapped minds, but aware and drifting over the face of the earth." Does anyone else find it odd that every book begins with the Wind ... generally described in a very similar...
