The Wheel of Time Re-read (currently reading - Lord of Chaos)

:rofl There are so many hints for this. However, I'm not sure - can't remember if I sussed this out the first time I read the books...

I also didn't get why Lanfear was interested in Perrin this early on? I mean, her and Rand weren't completely off the table at this point... So much for being obsessed with Lews Therin. :lol

The Wheel of Time Re-read (currently reading - Lord of Chaos)

I finally caught up! ....to last week's chapters. :cheese This bothered me too, I assumed that she told Siuan where she was going so that she could send out messages to her eyes and ears. Maybe the rest was passed on between the blue ajah's eyes and ears themselves? I had to re-read that line...

Thanks Toral Gaidin. :joy That is awesome we have all these hidden tidbits in our library... @Leala ni al'Dareis t'al'Caleum - an idea for a TVT article?

It was inferred, I think, that the Myrdraal that was to become Shaidar was also present during events in EoTW.

I wonder how she found him in all the post-battle craziness....

The Wheel of Time Re-read (currently reading - Lord of Chaos)

Yes - that is pretty odd - but maybe they knew him under a different name? Also - it seems like Heroes are always bound to the horn, but then in AMoL, another Hero is bound to the horn (Jaim). Does that mean that he was always bound to the Horn and was just spun out as Jaim in the present time...

The Wheel of Time Re-read (currently reading - Lord of Chaos)

@Hal Bahalla Yes - all those points, especially the rushed endings and the Forsaken being able to find Rand so easily. I think RJ really came into his own as a writer after book 3, really. That is when we see things make more sense. Though Rand's women really don't make any more sense...

The Wheel of Time Re-read (currently reading - Lord of Chaos)

100% to both of these! ...ta'veren?? Verin was kinda funny when figuring out which companions would go - well, of course the three ta'veren, and then uh you and uh you? :lol I think that Liandrin must have told the Dark Lord that those two were extraordinarily powerful compared to other Aes...

The Wheel of Time Re-read (currently reading - Lord of Chaos)

Yes - I am questioning her every move, now. I also realize that alot of the pieces that I attributed to Moiraine were actually Verin! :eek I'm a bit behind - will post some more discussion points/questions I have later today. :love

The Wheel of Time Re-read (currently reading - Lord of Chaos)

That is extremely helpful Toral Gaidin! So who here thinks we should rename the redstone doorway "George"? :giggle But it is interesting that so many different ter'angreal link into alternate worlds. I'm now wondering if all of them don't have something to do with alternate worlds, somehow....

The Wheel of Time Re-read (currently reading - Lord of Chaos)

I was referring to Aviendha's experience moving backwards through the ter'angreal. I thought Moiraine learned her future by traveling through the red doorway and asking the Ael/Eelfinn? Or was there a different ter'angreal that she used? I wish all these angreal would have names so we could...

The Wheel of Time Re-read (currently reading - Lord of Chaos)

So I thought Rhuidean showed the past/most likely future, whereas the ones Rand saw were just random possibilities?
