From a historical, cultural and genealogical perspective, it's somewhere I want to visit, especially New Orleans which I've only been to three times as an adult. Otherwise, I have no interest in it or my family that still lives there. The [political climate is a disappointment.

I was born there, moved north for college, stayed north for work. I miss my culture, but Louisiana is not a great place to live, unfortunately.
