Well, i am watching it and i enjoy it, but it is clearly not Tolkiens work as it doesn't follow Tolkiens canon, its timelines and its lore. The way i see it someone took their favourite events and characters from Tolkiens lore and created a fanfiction. And series is based on that fanfiction.

Mostly playing WoW, tho i took a break these last few weeks due to lack of new content. Also playing ESO whenever i get bored of WoW.
