Yeah, I re-read Way of Kings last week and will probably take the 4th off work so I can read it.
I'll have to pace myself, or I'll end up reading it far too quickly
Hopefully, it will be like Dance with Dragons and the ebook will be available early on the 4th, just after midnight

I'm rereading WoK now as well. I also hope that the ebook will be available quickly. Gotten so spoiled with the ebook reader, can't imagine carrying a huge boulder of a book.

My head aches a bit, but I read this last night.

How can you all not be discussing it so I have things to mull over? :indifferent:

I just finished reading it as well. AAAAH SO GOOD! So mindblowing! It did feel a bit darker to me than WoK did, and partway through the book I actually expected to give it four stars on Goodreads instead of five... but, by the end, yup, five stars. :D

I haven't ranked it, but did finish. I stopped about 7 last night, apart from around 50 pages when I couldn't sleep, but it took me about 11 hours altogether - as long as not distracted, about 100 pages an hour
I really have no idea where it is going next

Yeah, ten books.

I absolutely LOVED that Nightblood from Warbreaker showed up briefly, although I'm quite scared about him being in Szeth's hands...

One of those times I wish I hadn't read interviews, as there were a couple of character deaths that didn't convince me, because I knew the characters still had roles to play

I was looking for this at the bookstore on Saturday! I couldn't remember when the release date is. I haven't read the links posted yet, I will though and comment here. I'm excited for this series, it helps feel the void of no longer being to anticipate a new WoT book.

So what was with Szeth at the end? It seems unlikely that a Herald would just turn up after so many thousands of years. Could it really be Nightblood? Does anyone know the timeline of the two series?

Coppermind.net has the chronology, but the site isn't loading this morning.
I do believe it could be Nightblood; it matches the description perfectly, and the sword's words are definitely those of Nightblood.

I laughed my head off when that sword spoke. Nightblood is such a great character, and I suspect he'll have a lot of fun with Szeth. I find myself wondering if Nalan and Vasher are the same person, and if the places the Heralds are sent to when they die on Roshar are the other Shardworlds. If that's been suspected before, then I apologize for not reading enough theories. ;)
