When Thom explained how his nephew Owyn was being hunted by the Red Ajah. He was serving in Andor at the time and couldn't go to help him. Later on he explains that Owyn was caught, gentled, and then died alone. Talk about regret and remorse.

Ingtar throughout all of book 2 and the way he slowly loses all hope after the chest gets stolen again, especially after the portal stone, the slow admission to being a dark friend ending with the question of "Was that ickly little man shooting at you or the Amyrlin"

What makes it even sadder to me is the fact that "The Dragon breaks all Oaths and Shatters all ties" makes me think that if he had lived he could have fully broken his oath to the shadow.

When Perrin learns about his family. His reaction was so :( as was Siuan's fate. For me the first four haven't so many sad moments as the later books.
