So I finished the Great Hunt a few days ago and that had to be the most epic ending to a book I have read in a long while holy crap!

All I can say at this point is... keep reading. It gets better

The first 7 books are still my favourites of the series :)

You have NO idea how much I had to twist his arm to get him to read this series at all. And now he's hooked. So Luko, who's right? :giggle

They just pull you in! You'll fall in love with all the characters. For the last year I've only been reading WoT. A re read before the release of AMoL and I'm on another reread since I have them all now.

I can't believe that now people can just start reading the books, not having to wait a year or so for the next one to come out, tearing their hair in frustration as they attempt to theorize during those long waits. Its almost unfair

I dunno, the waiting did suck, but the theorizing was awesome.

As someone just beginning the series, I'm a little sad that I don't get to wait for them to come out. I always love the anticipation between books! I'm glad that I can come to Tar Valon and talk with fellow enthusiasts about them, though.

Also: I just finished The Great Hunt last night -- I totally echo Luko!

You can just ask a friend to hide the books from you and only give them to you one per year. :look:

I'm completely opposite. When I have to wait for more books of a series to come out, I forget what had happened in the other books in the meantime and then I always wonder about specific things. So although it's sometimes difficult I try only to start reading series that are already finished.
