so I have a theory about a prophecy that was said in book 4 that made Roh laugh because I was trying not spoil it for one of the Jersey crew...

I said to the quote “he will give up half of the world to save the world” my theory is that rand will give up one of the orbs/globes (ter’angreal) to bad lady (Lanfear) to make bad guy go Boom boom (Darkone)

The Choedan Kal?

Now what exactly makes you think "he will give up half of the world to save the world" means?

Haha yeah I don’t know how to spell things because ive been doing 90% audiobook! It’s a definite down side.

For a long time, the theory for that was Mat would lose an eye - which also fits in with the Odin parallels, but I never thought that made sense - losing an eye isn't losing "half the light of the world" in any sensible meaning

I know what you mean! I have been listening to the audio books and it is really hard to follow sometimes with the inconsistent accents and pronunciations. I have to go to the library and read the chapter summaries sometimes to make sense of the chapter I just listened to.

I think that I might have to go back again right away and do a re read without the audiobooks.
