I don't care if agendize isn't a word. I hereby declare it a word in the same family with jazzercize and accessorize!

The Fall Executive meeting is a quarterly meeting of the Officers and Directors and Board of Directors, should they choose to attend. Our big meetings happen in the spring and fall -- that's when you can expect policies to change, or big announcements to be made.

Our meeting is on September 25, so you have about 2 weeks to contact me, the Keeper, or the pertinent Director with any comments or concerns you have about agenda items -- or about anything else you think should be addressed by site leader.

The beautiful (and terrifying) thing about the English language is its extreme and extensive malleability :halo

The English language really isn't that bad. I mean, sure, some things are pronounced weirdly, and the Brits write a bunch of words weirdly. Oh, and whenever you borrow something, you give it ridiculous names. Like calling all the German things Dutch, and calling Wallonian fries French. Or calling Emmentaler Swiss cheese. Or calling a crèpe a crape. Hmm... Yeah, okay, your language is really bad. But there's languages out there that are way worse and way more difficult to learn. Like German, French, and Dutch. The biggest problem with the English language is dumb people who don't know the difference between there, their, and they're. :look:

Excuse me, Rhed, you misspelled that. It's spelled with a d.

A prime example of the "derivation" type of word formation. "Derivation is the creation of words by modification of a root without the addition of other roots. Often the effect is a change in part of speech." In this case, agenda + -ize = agendize. I personally invented "condensate", which is the act of collection condensation on the surface. For example, "My soda's condensating."

Sometimes, this community annoys me. And sometimes, we take one little word that our Amyrlin made up and we turn it into an entire thread of language geekery, and I fall in love with this community all over again.
