[Thovin al'Deebo]

Hello all!

I'm a newly forged WoT fan! I first really got into fantasy with Sanderson's Stormlight Archive, and decided to check out more. I picked up the books this summer in anticipation of the show, and absolutely devoured them! I finished AMoL just this week, right before the show. I'm looking forward to getting involved and diving into the years of fan theories that I'm sure exist here.

My favorite character after my first read-through probably has to Perrin. Although he's as wool-headed as ever at times, he is incredibly loyal and humble. At times his dealings with Faile were annoying, but I loved his transformation from humble blacksmith from the two rivers to master of the the wolf dream. And the blacksmith scenes where he forges his OG hammer, and then finally the power-wrought hammer were so good. I'm interested to see what others think about him.

Edit: I'm loving the show so far, and will be looking forward to it every week!

Yes! I've read all of the cosmere (except Elantris) and I'm listening to the Skyward series right now. I can't really pick a favorite between Mistborn and Stormlight at the moment, but I love how everything is getting tied together

Glad to have you here. Perrin is a good guy for sure but not among my favourites I really enjoy him for the first few books though and he was one of my favourites on my first read-through for a good while!

I think story-wise, Stormlight is my favorite, but the magic system of Mistborn is just so intriguing
