It's fantastic, to catalogue your own books, read and unread, you can have your own digital bookshelves and there are loads of reviews.

I'm on Goodreads and Librarything. Cataloguing features on Librarything are superior in my opinion so I try to keep all my books on there. Goodreads is mostly tied to the bookblog. Only a about a third of my books is on that site.
