I chalk it up to THIS: When two Godlike beings have a battle.....People notice. Its not just as simple as a spell. Its FATE. Its the world magic itself.

I also Believe i knew who Bors was , BUT i am a tardo and do NOT know how to make a spoiler tag..LOL so i will just shut up! hahaha

Hey Brandegoris. I saw you in the intro forums. What's up? I don't really know how to code the spoiler tag, but if you go to advanced in the bottom right, the last button available allows you to highlight a selection and make it a spoiler.

I generally agree with you, but I like testing the world our beloved author has woven! It's his job to make things work out mechanically, right?

Did you read all the books already? <3

Nah ive only ever read to book 6! I started so long ago that by the time i got finished with 6 that was all there was. So when 7 came out it had been two years and i had forgotten too much! LOL so instead of re reading everytime he put another book out i just said " i will wait til he is done. It cant have too many more books?" LOLOLOLL So...16 years later i have FINALLY Started again! and im on book 3 :) :P
Yeah , idk..i LOVE rpg games so i do have a habit of trying to take things i read and apply game mechanics to them. The part you describe certainly does NOT fit in in that regards though! Thats true! hahahaha

And with the BORS thing..I didnt really ever know for SURE but i always thought he was

i
always supected it was Jaichim Carriden? Not even sure if thats how its spelled or if that name is the ACTUAL name of the QUESTIONER in the Great hunt and the Dragon Reborn? I always just suspected that BORS was that questioner?

Thank u for the tutorial!!! LOL

I think you're right. I think it was Carridin, but for the longest time I was really confused and guessing about a bunch of different White Cloaks. For a while I thought it was Padan Fain, which I guess is ridiculous retroactively.

It's funny that you apply game mechanics to novels. I've been trying really hard to keep my gaming knowledge out of the content in my first-time reviews because I don't think everyone plays RPGs on the ps2 like I do, and it would be too much of an inside joke.

Were you interested in reading my first-time reader responses to the books so far? Here they are: Book One, Book Two, Book Three. (Book Four's review should be posted early next month.)

If you ever needed to look anything up, you should go to the Library tab on the top of the TV.net page. It has book and chapter summaries, and you can search for characters in the handy search bar. (When I was new to the site, no one told me about it so I was excited when I figured it out lol.) Hopefully it helps you too.

One thing that's really good about the WoT series through a gamer's perspective is that the magic is well thought out and consistent. I think that's one of the most difficult things for a fantasy/sci-fi author to do, creating a detailed, complicated magic system that's realistic and makes sense.
