So many amazing shawls! I'm wondering... I haven't seen any male Aes Sedai with shawls here. Is that just because no one has posted yet, or is it a thing that male Aes Sedai don't wear shawls?

I know a few male Aes Sedai with shawls. I made one for Ignis of the Yellow, I know Kelgan has one. Not everyone (male, female, or non-binary) does the shawl thing though.

True, we don't really have a set convention for Ajah or Company representation. Historically Aes Sedai have worn shawls and Gaidin have worn sashes, but those aren't rules or anything. As evidenced by this thread, which generated some neat ideas: NB Ajah expression

I finally finished crocheting my shawl. I might sew one in the future.
The symbol on the back was a half of a YinYang granny square, but I only did one side. Then I made it bigger using a method I found in a video about paisley motifs.

Very nice! I’ll have to get that flame pattern from you at some point. Or the yin Yang granny square itself. Always looking for new things to make
