Season 3 so far (SPOILERS for all released episodes!)

I definitely feel like what Suian said to Mat in her study is going to be relevant with the White Cloak, very quickly.
I loved the first season, despite its flaws. Covid obviously compromised production and the ending wasn’t as epic as hoped for. Still very much worth watching.
The second season was a step up and three episodes into the third season looks like an even bigger jump in quality.
The breathtaking scenic locations have been a constant throughout. The costume designs and score continue to impress and improve. You can see the cast really settling into their characters now.
I’m a huge fan of many books adapted to the screen. These movies and shows need to be made for general audiences or they won’t last very long, so even if things aren’t exactly as envisioned, be thankful to get them at all.
I’m all in on the TV series and will be returning to the books because of it.
Matt has really grown on me in the first three episodes of S3 and I’m anxious for Nynaeve to figure things out.
The score as they arrived in the Aiel land was cool.
Shohreh Aghdashloo is awesome in The Expanse. Happy to see her killing it here.
Patiently waiting on my new WoT books to arrive.

I read the first three books way back in the 90’s, but didn’t continue. After watching the TV series I’ve begun ordering a new complete set of books and plan on starting over at the beginning.

I saw in the WoT show Reddit that the ratings are very high for this season so far. #2 in Amazon shows and top fantasy show ( beating out HOTD, Witcher S3, and RoP- granted, the competition wasn’t that stellar though). Season not fully released obviously so we won’t know for sure until it’s fully released.
Invincible is stiff competition, if in a decidedly different genre. Loved seeing it beating out 'House of David' XD
That's what we love to hear. You're also in good company, I only managed to finish the first six in the early 2000s before setting them down until just recently.

This was the BEST EPISODE OF THE SHOW so far!
It was just perfect! Every memory he saw I was just like YES! And just before the last one it looked like they’d skip the bore and I was like “one more! Come on, one more!”
and when they showed the sphere I was jumping in my seat! It looked SO GOOD!
And the effect of the bore with the ripping of the pattern! It was SO GOOD!
Really, 10/10, it was just incredible! I loved every moment of it except when Rand let Avienda so easily best him.
Still, 10/10 for sure.

See as a Mat fan it's hard not having his stuff happen here. I get it, but still feels missing..
I do love the storytelling.. my husband who hasn't read the books got everything he needed to know about it. So very well done!

That was awesome. The backstory of the Aiel has always been one of my favorite things in the books and so I am soooo happy they decided to let us really experience that. Thought it was cool that they had Josha play all those roles, and those looks between Moiraine and Rand at the end there are just so well done.

Also - loved Moiraine's removing of weapons,
the Avendesora and Moiraine telling the story of her uncle. And those big-ass statues!!

I'm so glad they spent the ENTIRE episode on Rhuidean and didn't cut back and forth with people elsewhere. It was a lot of story to tell.
While I did LOVE the amount of detail this episode went into, I also got to the end and was all "wait! what about everyone else!"
Reading about AoL has been one of my favorite things. I looooved seeing the flashbacks this episode.
I’m also curious about Rand’s real father. Do we know anything about him and what he does later ? That scene was so heartbreaking.

That touch about how his and Moiraine's lives have been intertwined certainly struck me.
Ok, I've only watched the first two episodes so far, but I need to post this before I forget.
I'm looking forward to seeing Rhuidean, hearing everyone being excited about makes me hope I won't be disappointed. Those chapters are my favourite in all the books!
I love how they introduced him. Nothing seems overly wrong at first glance, but that pregnant pause for just a few seconds every time he is introduced is so telling. I love it.

As for the other episodes, I may have an unpopular opinion about Elaida. I'm having trouble hearing what she's saying, not a fan of her voice. (please don't shoot me 
) Other than that, after the very intense opening, I'm already sick of White Tower politics 
Though I like that they still had the Gray Man being stabbed and Nynaeve catching that Verin didn't wonder who had stabbed him.
Tanchico will be interesting, I wonder if Min will go with them? The end of the episode left that vague.
Moghedien is truly creepy, though I don't know why her hair is like that... Looking forward to meeting the rest.
