Last I checked, it does indeed count. However, I also believe you have to go as part of the Tower group and not just on your own, with friends, or with another group.

Ummm who do I then see on changing my merits as I currently have no DCon events registered?

You can go to your HOA or designated ajah person who updates the Who's Who. (Alternately, you can ask library@tarvalon.net, historian@tarvalon.net, of if you are feeling ambitious email them for access and update it yourself. )

You can also shoot an email to merits@tarvalon.net to ensure they have your event attendance listed correctly.

If you'd like to update your attendance, shoot Morrighan a PM. She's the one who edits the Green Ajah stuff. Just list all of the events that you've attended, and she should be able to update it. If you've earned one of the Attendance merits (10 events attended for silver, 20 for gold), shoot an e-mail to merits@tarvalon.net, as Ubah suggested, and they'll mark it as due on your page, so it'll be announced in the next round of merits.
