Hello new friends,

I am new to WoT and the Tar Valon community.

I am a retired academic, turned on to WoT from the Amazon Prime series (love the show, hate that it was cancelled), bought the Humble Bundle collection in May and JUST THIS WEEK found New Spring in our community library - even though the ebook was in the HB collection, I still checked it out. The book jacket has a list of fan-maintained websites which led me to Tar Valon. That is where I am starting.

I am almost finished with New Spring and can now get started on the good stuff.

Other than Jordan or Sanderson, I like Paul Bennett's work. He is a D&D gamer who turned his campaigns into books. Lots of fun to read his work.

I am enamoured with the library resources here! This site really enriches the reading experience. Thanks to all. Maybe someday I can contribute by helping out with the maintenance.

Welcome!! I started out using only the TarValon library on my many re-reads before finally joining the forums. You're doing it the smarter way! ;) Community makes these books way better. So glad you're here!
 
Welcome to the site! I like to look around t e Library and the resources there as well so I appreciate that sentiment.

Thanks! Even with New Spring I have been checking the book summary every few chapters to make sure I have the story correct. I am really enjoying using the library.
