I think this is a fantastic idea, especially as an Aussie with no physical events to attend! Helps me feel like I'm still part of this wonderful community despite not being able to meet you all in person.

Ahhhh, I'll have to dig through and try to piece together who all came to the Green Open Zooms. I know I can piece together some since I'd post updates, but I might miss some people. I'll do some poking around to make sure most are accounted for before I submit mine. For future ones though, I'll be screenshot ready. :salute

I think this is a great merit! and Virtual Events have literally been a life saver during the pandemic. While it's not the same as in person, memories were still made, and with some events, faces still seen. Plus, I agree these are great moving forward for those of us that can't make it to the events as often or need to feed our PPD after one. :hug

I don't have a screenshot, but the JMs, Citizens, and Unaffiliated Senior Members had an event a week or so ago, if I can come up with a list of names would that be alright?

Nadie, since you weren't the host, you shouldn't be the one submitting the list of attendees. @Seryse ni Cousland would be responsible for that, since she was the host/organizer (also, she'd surely want to get the credit for organizing. ;) ). That said, I'm also not sure if it would count, since it was only open to those select usergroups, as opposed to the whole site - the library article linked in the first post about virtual events indicates the event must be open to all members.

This.

Just like with Local Events, the virtual event should be posted about in the Virtual Events forum and should be open to everyone.

Ah, I see, I did not realize it had to be open to everyone. Thanks!!

@Cinna Vrammar I wasn’t trying to take that away from Seryse, was just trying to get some information and pass it on to her or you, since y’all both were in charge of that. I’m sorry if came off differently.

It's all good! You were just trying to be helpful. I was also just trying to be helpful, but I think I may have come off abrasive. Whoops.

Bumping this in case people do not know how to submit participation for this merit:

If you’re hosting an online event with TarValon.Net participants, please make a screenshot and send it to archivist@tarvalon.net, along with filling out THIS FORM for ease of counting this merit.
Ilverin Sedai, I'd like to submit that form for the D&D event I just did, but when I click the link, it tells me, "This form can only be viewed by users in the owner's organization." Halp?

OK, it was set to only accept responses frm users in the organisation. I changed that, so it should now work for anyone

As someone living for virtual events right now, this is excellent news! Thank you all for getting this organized and keeping us updated about the changes.
