I mean, I found an Unofficial version that is very unofficial. A group called "Reflections of Sound" did a whole album of unofficial song covers from the books.

I still need an official version of the various tales. Thinks like Jack O' The Shadows, Return from Tarwin's Gap, or Tinker in the Kitchen

Honestly this. I think there's so much potential with just the common and recurring songs from the series. I hope they find a way to integrate them into the show more, especially things like Jak O' The Shadows and some of the Aiel Battle Chants.

I'm meanwhile trying to take a peek myself at the Old Tongue lyrics on the soundtrack and make an attempt at translation as a personal exercise as a fan of the Old Tongue. I'm a huge fan of the style, and because of how the language is constructed, I'm curious to see what the composer of the songs chose as far as their own personal style of Old Tongue use!

There's something about it that seems to say, "There was once more, and there will be again," as though the more modern elements to the tonalities and beats are subtly pointing to the Age of Legends. It's fantasy without being epic in the sense that the LotR soundtracks were - non-symphonic, but impactful in its own right.

The concept album is interesting. I like hearing the Old Tongue in the music (and it makes me want to learn it). It feels a bit over the top to me at times, as though it pushed a little too hard on the epic-ness pedal

The entire soundtrack, especially the pieces with lyrics {and the trolloc attack theme} is a gift from the heavens ✨ such a unique sound and texture. pure vibes. have listened to it so many times on walks and exercising

The old tongue yes.. afaik the lyrics definitely innovate a bit on what we have of it. I wish so much that someone had fleshed it out into a proper conlang [like there are ppl you can hire for TV shows that do that] {or at least that we got a transcription of the OT bits of the show 🥺 would it be soo difficult}

After I finished episode yesterday I immediately queued up the soundtrack for s2 and some of the last few songs especially really put me right back into those epic moments.
