Specifically, Arrows of the Queen. I first read this trilogy in middle school and it really struck a cord with me as a horse girl. Magic talking horses? Sign me up. I came back around to it this year as an adult and man, does it stand up. Given that the main protagonist's Gift is Empathy, and a PTSD survivor, I've always felt as though Talia is the character I can relate to most in literature, followed closely by Nynaeve.
