Hey, ya'll!

So, I joined here back... I dunno, last December or such, and really enjoyed this site. Then the Holidays and my toddler attacked and I kept getting distracted from posting more here. No, literally, he attacked my laptop and threw it across the living room. Not to mention, I really wanted to finish reading the series before poking about a great deal more. Yet, a rather persistent friend of mine, Sereph Sedai, keeps reminding me to come back here. I swear, she must be a Hufflepuff with all that badgering. ;) But, I'm giving this another go, and am really looking forward to settling into a new internet home and meeting new people.

Err, let's see. I feel like I need to sell myself like an infomercial or something to make friends. Hmm. Let's see. I'm a big sci-fi and fantasy fan, and am always taking new book/movie/tv show suggestions. I am eagerly awaiting tomorrow's episode of Doctor Who, as that is the only show I watch as it airs. Everything else comes off of Netflix or something of that nature. I've currently run out of room on my bookshelf for new books, but that's okay, as an e-reader doesn't take up much space, right? My search for the perfect recipe for tomato soup rather feels like an endless quest, but I have faith that this perseverance will one day pay off. At any rate, I'm always happy when puttering about the kitchen... until I need to clean up my mess.

Or, maybe I'll just bribe everyone with something awesome. I've got a container of coffee, a pack of graham crackers, two toy cars, and a Sesame Street book in arm's reach from my spot on the couch as I write this. That's got to count for something, right? Any takers?

Avelina! <3 You know you love me! And you're right, I'm straight up Hufflepuff.

Although it's ended, I would suggest watching Merlin. (I currently am.) Reading wise, I'm not too sure of things, I haven't started too many other things yet.

And Welcome back :D

Hullo and welcome back.

My child is furry and has 4 legs and a tail, but I've nephews, so -- know how it can be. As for more things for bribes -- if you're really on a sofa, reach between the cushions; sure you'll find some other things to bargain for in there (amongst the stale pretzels and wild dust woolies the size of rabbits). :)

Oh! So many responses! :)

Upon further inspection, I also have multicolored popsicle sticks sticks to offer as bribes. Maybe I should bake cookies or something like that. ;)

Gwynne, Hmm. Maybe I should have mentioned my furry children as well! I've got 2 dogs who I am quite certain think themselves human.

Seraph Sedai & Roheryn I've tried Merlin... back when they first aired it on SyFy. I wanted to like it, but wasn't able to keep up with watching. It's in my Netflix queue now. Like so many other things. I promised my sister I'd watch The Vampire Diaries, which is moving very slowly, as there's only so much high school I can handle watching at a time. ;)

Keladria Sedai- Frosting on graham crackers? That's a new one. I might have to use up my frosting stash in the freezer. ;) I'm partial to Nutella myself.

I saw the Who discussion and started a reply, but got distracted. I'm kind of like a squirrel sometimes. ;)

Thanks for the welcomes, everyone!

Oh yah, It's really good :pleased-1:
Vanilla frosting on the cinnamon graham crackers is my favorite :D

Also, I'll also throw in my recommendation for Merlin. I really enjoyed it :pleased-1: Is it my favorite show ever, no, but it's definitely worth watching :) I've even got my bf hooked on it finishing it :P

Ok, I'll definitely start giving Merlin a try. I need more hours in the day to watch television. Yup. I've been saying that for years. ;)

Thank you, Axis Gaidin. (Did I do that right? I just had to reread the membership manual to remember the title to use, and my coffee hasn't fully kicked in this morning, so please forgive me if that's wrong!)

Ooh! Vampire Diaries! I love that show too. It did take me a bit to get into that series but once I did, I zoomed through all of the episodes.

Avelina, we have so much in common, it's like we should be friends or something. :look:

LOL! You're so silly.

The bad thing about me watching Vampire Diaries actually stems from my husband, who for some reason I've never been able to understand, really likes the Twilight movies. (he'll deny it, but it's oh so very true.) So, he was offended I started some new vampire thing without him. I can't get him to watch much of any fantasy or scifi otherwise!
