June is Pride Month here in the United States. However, here at TarValon.Net, Pride Month has a much more significance for our community because so many here identify as members or allies of the LGBTQQIP2SAA community. TarValon.Net wants you to know
Listed below are a few LGBTQ+-friendly charities if you're looking for ways to actively support for June throughout the year.
The Servant of All Team is taking inspiration from May's awareness month by posting educational facts about the LGBTQ+ community throughout the month. In addition to this, feel free to share below interesting facts or what you would like the hetero-cis community to know. Please include if we have your permission to anonymously share some of these on our social media accounts in order to reach a larger audience.
There are even more surprises to share as the month progresses so check back often to see what's in store!

- Covenant House - https://www.covenanthouse.org/
Although a catholic founded organization they are open to all and very supportive of lgbtq youth. They provide, meals, beds and showers in facilities in lgbtq neighborhoods. Their rules are not unreasonable. Simply put, Covenant House saves lives. ... They are often the last hope for street kids on the edge. They make a difference in places and for young people that parents have thrown away, churches have ejected, schools have expelled and others have exploited. They stand were and when others do not. - The Marsha P Johnson Institute - https://marshap.org/about-mpji/
Marsha P Johnson is more than an icon to [folx]. She was [a] friend... and saved [lives].The MPJ Institute focuses on black transwomen because that was Her identity. I support their cause because without their honoree I would not be here today.
