While this has been celebrated since 1985 every July in the United States, as a community we’d like to celebrate it across the globe with our members this July. This month highlights the important role local parks and recreation play in conservation, health, wellness and social equity efforts in our communities across the globe.

Thanks for sharing! It's cool you can still use historical structures when unexpected things happen out on the trails! Trying to think if there's anything like that here... Usually historical stuff is roped off and/or preserved for educational purposes. But, I mean, if it comes down to using that or surviving...
