Hello,
I joined TarValon.net while at the most recent JordanCon, I'd been in and out of the Library over the years but hadn't joined the site. I've been on the discord a bit since the con.
I've read the entire series many times beginning in middle school and rereading the entire series each time a new book came out beginning with book five. So the earlier books I've read more than a dozen times and the later books a bit less. I've watch the show through a couple of times as well. I've taught a lectio divina class on the books several times.
I live in Philadelphia and have been on the east coast for more than a decade, before that I was a Midwesterner.
Verin is among my favorite characters, because Verin always knows.
I'm currently on a Kim Harrison re-read and playing EarthBound when not doing work or studies.
I am a Humanist Chaplain, UU Minister, and an Atheist. My work is currently congregational but I'm transitioning to a new positon that will be focused on training leaders and curriculum development. I'm working on my dissertation around spiritual practices for atheists which I hope will become my first book.
I love to knit and to travel.
I hope to connect with more folks and will try to be active on the site, but honestly the app-based discord is more likely to get my attention as laptop-time equals work-time in my mind.
