I want to start by saying I haven’t read origins yet, I want to finish my reread first.

But for the love of the light…..

What happened with Aviendas vision from Rhuidean on the second trip?

Who found Rand first after the last battle?

What was Mat and Fortounas relationship like?

Did the Black tower and white tower truly work in peace?

What happened to the red ajah if they did work peacefully?

Did Perrin return to the two rivers?

I need to know?!?!?

What are some questions that you really want answered after the last battle?

Before I opened this thread: Well it was a great ending, I'm fairly satisfied, sure there are some unanswered questions but at this point I'm good.

After I opened this thread: OH MY GOSH I NEED TO KNOW ALL THE THINGS AND I NEVER WILL 😭

Off the top of my head that isn't already on your list, what happened with Cadsuane?

What happened with Aviendas vision from Rhuidean on the second trip?
The Aiel adapted to the new conditions. A significant portion returned to the Waste where they continued their lifestyle with regular "service" rotations in the "wetlands."

Who found Rand first after the last battle?
Min (Elayne had to head back to repair Camlyn and Avienda helped organize the Clans returned to the Waste and the regular "service" rotations in the "wetlands." Min caught up to him just as he was moving through Kandor and they both returned to Baerlon (and eventually Two Rivers) via Arad Domon, where they met up with Tam who was appointed by Lord Perrin to be the Captain of the Western Marches (aka guard Two Rivers from any intrusions from the Mountains of the Mist."
What was Mat and Fortounas relationship like?
For many years (while they were reuniting Seanchan (that took about 5 years) it was very good (besides 5 more kids - 2 boys and 3 girls - helped.). It got really rocky thereafter as Matt just couldn't adapt to the peace on the continent and the "bizarre" customs. As Tuon was reforming the Seanchan slave based society and culture; Mat took the opportunity to take his eldest son and daughter and return to the "Western lands of the Empire" where they took a jaunt up to visit Perrin and Faile in Two Rivers. (Surprising they ran into Valan, but that is a different tale.).
Did the Black tower and white tower truly work in peace?
Regretfully, they did not. The combined arrogance of Cadsuane and Logain doomed the relationship from the start. Although, they both worked for peace (white tower) and protection (black tower) it would be several generations before amicability between the two arose. (As for relationships between individual Asha'man and Aes Sedai that was a completely different outcome.).
What happened to the red ajah if they did work peacefully?
It was a struggle for a couple years as they tried to find a clear mission. Perhaps not unsurprisingly, they had the best relationships with the Asha'man. Often forming teams "To Serve and Protect" the people of Randland. It was similar to the Texas Rangers.

Did Perrin return to the two rivers?
Absolutely he did. It was difficult at the start (not in Two Rivers, the people welcomed him and his relationship with Elayne, Camlyn and Andor was solid) because Faile was now the Queen of Saldea. So lots of politics to sort out that mess and lots of years. Fortunately, they had 1 strong daughter and 3 healthy boys. Eventually, the daughter took the throne of Saldea and Faile abdicated. Curiously, one of the boys had yellow eyes....
Off the top of my head that isn't already on your list, what happened with Cadsuane?
Yeah, Anika nailed this one. It wasn't the best tenure of an Amyrlin. Fortunately, she was quite old (even for an Aes Sedai) so it lasted shorter than it could have

And yes, all the above is totally made up and my own head canon. So what's yours??

why aren't you a writer?
Like Mat Cauthon's aversion to nobility I suppose?

We should visit the World of Beers in Middleton with some dice and riddle this out. The High Drunkblood Daughter of the Nine Moons and the puppy fox dicing for the truths.

So what's your head canon on these questions? I'll add one.

What happened with Berelain and Galad and the consequence of moving the White Cloaks into Mayene?

What happened with Berelain and Galad and the consequence of moving the White Cloaks into Mayene?
You just tell me when and I'll be there with dice!!

Berelain and Galad spent many months negotiating with the Arad Domani king, straining their relationship and Galad's hold on the Children. The Domani king feared losing the one stable armed force available to his kingdom. To salvage his relationship with Berelain, Galad agreed to split off a portion of his forces to remain as a police force for the Domani king. Eventually this splinter group becomes its own distinct sect of the Children, rather more fanatical than the parent company, to which the White and Black Towers must come together to temper the militia.

Tear, in the mean time, flexes all it's political and military powers to try and prevent the larger, now more tolerant company from roosting in Mayene. Should Mayene claim Galad's Children of the Light, Tear's former grip on the city state would be forever lost. Threats, attempted assassinations, and one all out attack end in failure when both Galad and Berelain lead the Children to Mayene and deal an embarrassing blow to the Tairen forces. The defeated Tairens are forced home to lick their wounds. Mayene flourishes under Galad and Berelain now that it is out from beneath Tear's thumb, and Tear finds itself under the thumb of Mayene instead, it's economy dwindling to a shadow of it's former self.

So @Anika Forsyn Sedai...another riddle...WHY AREN'T YOU A WRITER??

I love that tale. And we can incorporate the Aiel "Dragon's Peace Enforcers" into the Tale as they help turn the tide of battle with an unexpected flanking attack on the Tairean army. Proving their capability and willingness to fulfill their new cultural responsibility.

(PS Looking like early March)

C'mon @Magnus , are you going to get in on some of this??

Don't forget that Elayne and Aviendha will lead their respective groups of people to better understand the other groups. This will create a great relationship between the lands Elayne is now ruling, and the Aiel. That is the areas that the Aiel feels the most secure, where they build their new Holds, outside the Waste.

My question is, will Egwene's idea of exchange students among the Sea Folk, Aiel and Aes Sedai be upheld? I'd like to say it did, because it was EGWENE, who is now a legend due to her heroic death in the Last Battle, that suggested it. She had the respect of the Aiel Wise Ones as well, so I think it did happen.

Oh Ida Sedai these are brilliant (WHY AREN'T YOU A WRITER)...let's play them a bit.

where they build their new Holds, outside the Waste.
Aiel Holds in Cairein and Andor allow for a central position in the Westlands providing rapid movement of forces, North, South, and West. As well as a secure corridor of resupply and troop reinforcement and movement via the East. The Aiel warriors in particular preferred service rotation to the Northern Holds where they could regularly conduct excursions into the blight in support of Borderlander's reclaiming those lands against the remaining twisted creatures that lived there. Interestingly enough, the far Northwest Hold (called High Rock Hold as it sat just west of Baerlon and south of Katar on a high cliff overlook) was also a desired location as the Almoth Plain continued to breed tensions between Arad Doman and the Seanchan as well as the many bandits that found refuge in the Darwood just west of Lake Somal seeking to take advantage of the unclear border and the tension between the two nations.

will Egwene's idea of exchange students among the Sea Folk, Aiel and Aes Sedai be upheld?

Regretfully, real progress had to wait until the passing of the Amyrlin Cadsuane who despite her reluctant respect of Sorilea and a couple of the Windfinders was generally so arrogant and overbearing that no real progress was made. Or perhaps it may have set the stage for the next Amyrlin (from the Grays) who along with the Mistresses of Ships and a contingent of highly respected Wise Ones (including Sorilea's daughter) agreed to a triple apprenticeship model that included a term at the Black Tower. (A channeler would begin an initial term at the starting location and then an equal term at each of the other locations, including the Black Tower. Upon completion they would return to their starting location and test for full membership (as AS, Windfinder or Wise Ones). This extensive training process resulted in these channelers becoming the senior leadership of all three groups and the ONLY pathway to that leadership. Eventually after many generations, these channelers in fact (if NOT de jure) compromised a unified body because of their shared experiences.

Curiously, the Black Tower took a completely different path once the male channelers of the Mad Lands and Shara were discovered and contacted...but that is is a different tale.

WHY AREN'T YOU A WRITER
I am a writer :look: I just haven't published my writings anywhere yet, except a few HP fanfics :look:

And I agree with you about Cadsuane hindering progress. However, Cadsuane has also achieved her goal of living until the Last Battle, so there won't be that many years until other more reasonable forces gain traction.
Cadsuane managed to keep the White Tower and the Aes Sedai toghether in the chaos after the Last Battle and did wonders for healing the breaches between the Ajahs.
She and Nynaeve often butted heads, but since Nynaeve was busy reclaiming Malkier, that didn't become a major problem.

I’m not a creative writer at all and I desperately want this all to be canon.

If I may posit another question, what became of mistress Anan?

She became a middleperson between the Kin and the Aes Sedai. The Kin stopped being on complete awe of Aes Sedai, but they still aren't comfortable talking to them directly, so Setalle Anan got elected to be the coordinator between them.
Alise makes sure that the Kin is not taken advantage of and they very much enjoy a favourable position in the rebuilt Caemlyn, as they bargained with Elayne about.
(Alise is one of my favourite characters. So much so that I've taken her name and written a character much like her into my own writing :look: )

I thought Amador was in Amadicia, not Arad Domain. Which would mean there's no need to negotiate with anyone since that territory belongs to the Crystal Throne.
