I'm sharing this more personally than from the team. <3

I have family in Uvalde, two have daughters that attend Robb Elementary, but they were not present during the shooting as they left with family after the awards ceremony which the shooting took place after. They are safe! but sad as they both lost friends and are mourning the loss with the rest of the community.

If you are looking for ways to help those affected by the school shooting in Uvalde, TX, see some ways below, including non-monetary.

Blood Donations (If you are in Texas): Demand is high, yet supply is low in San Antonio. The next closet blood bank is Austin, then Houston and Corpus Christi. Sign up to donate blood for families whose loved ones are injured and recovering in Uvalde and locally:
- San Antonio: https://biobridgeglobal.org/donors/
- Austin: https://weareblood.org
- Houston & Gulf Coast: https://www.giveblood.org
- Corpus Christi & Coastal Bend: https://www.coastalbendbloodcenter.org

Donations to City of Uvalde: The City of Uvalde is currently accepting donations for medical expenses for the families of Tuesday’s incident. If you would like to donate please send a check to City of Uvalde, P.O. Box 799, Uvalde, TX 78802. Shared from the Uvalde Police Department Facebook Page.

Donations to Robb School Memorial Fund: An account has been opened at First State Bank Uvalde for the families of Robb Elementary. If you would like to donate, you can do so at any FSB Branch. Make all checks payable to the: Robb School Memorial Fund, 200 E. Nopal St., Uvalde, TX 78801. For Zelle Donations, robbschoolmemorialfund@gmail.com and use Robb for the first name and School for the last name. (Questions? Please call at 830-278-6231 and ask for Roxanne Hernandez, Chance Neutze, or Cody Smith or visit FSBUvalde.com). Shared from the Uvalde Police Department Facebook Page.

Donate to the San Antonio Area Foundation: The SAAFDN in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country: https://saafdn.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/list. Donors can choose from the options listed:

- Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund (in partnership with National Compassion Fund): Uvalde Strong Survivors Fund will provide direct financial assistance to the survivors of the deceased and those directly affected by this tragedy. One hundred percent (100%) of the contributions donated to this fund will go directly to victims and survivors of this atrocity. Charitable donations to this fund are fully tax deductible.
- Uvalde Strong Fund: Uvalde Strong Fund is an emergency relief fund to support area nonprofits that will provide long-term assistance, including mental health services, in the Uvalde community. Charitable donations to this fund are fully tax deductible.

Funeral Services: Both Hillcrest Memorial Funeral Home and Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary and Monuments in Uvalde, Texas, have offered free funerals services for the families impacted by the shooting.

Non-monetary wise, thoughts and prayers are good right now as the community is mourning, but I also encourage action by voting, using your voice, writing your politicians and supporting changes that can help to prevent situations like these or better prepare in the event of a similar situation, regardless of where you stand politically. <3

BUMP because the recent news coming out of Uvalde is incredibly frustrating to say the very least. I know it won't change what happen, but .. just.. ugh. I don't know anymore. heh
