I know these are having a moment on the interwebs but I wonder what the intersection is for Tower people 🤔

My #1 is the Silt Verses, it has everything (even though it's so harrowing I haven't finished the final season yet) but I enjoyed TMA too. Malevolent is fun as well.

Are we talking about horror plays and stories? Because in that case I highly recommend Old Gods of Appalachia. Absolutely incredible for it's play with American folklore and depictions of . . . of well Appalachia.

If we're talking about podcasts about horror, then I recommend Random Horror Podcast Generator #9, where the voice of Nightvale, Cecil Baldwin, and Welcome to Nightvale producer Jeffrey Cranor, they review horror movies that they generate randomly to watch at the end of every episode.

Old Gods is brilliant art but it was simply too disturbing for me 😂 could not make it through the first couple episodes. It may get less bleak as the podcast goes on, but I don't know if I will find out haha
Maybe if I ever actually finish Silt Verses,,,,

"Too much of a good thing" definitely applies to horror, because yeah, as much as I appreciate the craft they really drop the mountain on you with Old Gods of Appalachia.

Nightvale though?

Night vale is more weird than scary to me. I liked the Left right game.

I don't like horror films, but I do listen to The Horror Virgin podcast. I initially started listening to Romancing the Pod, where they talk about romcoms because I wanted to listen to something about Scott Pilgrim and that is what was recommended. But the hosts have great chemistry and I just like listening to their banter. So here I am! I also love to read about horror films but never ever watch them so this works for me. I now know the plot to things like The Substance and I will never have to watch it! Win win.

[Late acknowledgement that this is a horror commentary rather than a horror podcast]

It does require a certain mood lol. I find myself returning to horror more than getting new horror in these days. Weird comfort place lol.

Not quite horror but one of my favorite youtube channels has started a podcast called Late Nights With Nexpo that's been really interesting. It has more of a true crime and unsolved mystery lean to it of horrific places and events. Nonfiction but still interesting
