As you might have noticed, Siera has taken on a new role (congrats again, lady!) and as such as decided to step down as Outreach Activities Coordinator. Siera, you've been awesome.

Overview:
The Outreach Activities Coordinator (OAC) is a non-rotating administrative position in the Department of Community Outreach. The OAC leads and manages the Outreach Activities Team, planning and executing our community’s official online events. The OAC also organizes and maintains a list of member birthdays, and coordinates sending out birthday greetings throughout the year. Time spent in this role counts toward the Administrative Merit. The OAC reports to the Director of Community Outreach.

Requirements:

• Must be a member in good standing within the Tower for at least 6 months.
• Must be able to lead and coordinate activities effectively with a team working towards deadlines.
• Experience running online events is a plus.
• While it is not required, graphics and/or creative writing experience is also a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain a schedule for free weeks
• Keep the calendar up to date, including adding new member birthdays
• Make sure birthday greetings are sent in a timely fashion
• Manage the Outreach Activities Team effectively, assigning tasks as needed
• Work with the Director of Community Outreach to create events that occur throughout the year in addition to freeweeks
• Maintain or support the maintenance of Outreach Activities archives and Wiki
• Coordinate with Marketing and Membership to promote and publicize events
• Time commitment will vary week-to-week (5-10 hours per week), and will increase leading up to and during official freeweeks (Beltine and Shaoman)

I have worked on the OAT team previously and I found it enjoyable but I had to take a step back as my citizenship classes got in the way of being involved for a full circuit of events. I am not looking to be the OAC and good luck in finding the person for the post but as soon as the OAT team is restarted I would like to be considered for rejoining?
