Due to real life commitments, Stasia has had to step down from this role

This is a stilla new position, so there is not yet any firm expectations of how many hours it is likely to take, but it will likely be variable, according to how often changes in policy require changes in the Membership Manual, and how much of a re-write of existing pages such changes require

The editor will help in the writing and updating of the Membership Manual. This position reports to the Archivist and will assist them in making sure that the MM accurately and clearly describes the rules and regulations of TarValon.Net. As such, it may also involve interacting with the Department Heads and officers, especially when changes are made, to make sure that the MM is properly updated. Currently, we are in the process of reviewing the MM, so that when people are asked to read it, they are mostly reading information that is relevant to them, and that important information is easy to find. We are also looking at re-writing any parts where the current wording is unclear, ambiguous or using jargon whose meaning may not be clear to the reader.

The position will be eligible for the Copywriting merit

If you have questions as to the role, email archivist@tarvalon.net
To apply, email archivist@tarvalon.net, Amyrlin@tarvalon.net and Cordamora@tarvalon.net

Thanks for everything, Stasia!

Do you have a general time frame for applications, Toral? I didn't see anything mentioned to that regard in the initial post.

(Edit to correct the migraine versus autocorrect name typos.)

Sorry, no time frame yet.
As a lot of the MM has to do with the Cordomora (and other parts to do with the Keeper), some of it will likely wait till we have some new person in that position - I want to be able to confirm with them if we make any major changes that what we saying is still correct
Also, I am terrible at giving deadlines for hirings, I nearly always forget.
Lets say, to the end of the month
