[Closed] Hiring: Card Game Development Team

As some of you know, we've been working on the Card Game for Tar Valon.Net! We just need a few more hands to help with this project

So what does that mean? The Card Game Development Team will be a 6-12 month position within the Department of Marketing.

All members will be invited to brainstorm and develop all aspects of our "official" community card game. We have some ideas on how it's going to look that but if you enjoy playing card games/board games or just enjoy being creative this team is the place for you. The Graphics Development Team will be developing the graphics so there's no need for you to have any design skills. The game will be based off of Ascension.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop cards and game play for the TarValon.Net Card Game.
• Test and challenge the cards throughout the development process.
• Promote the TarValon.Net Card Game within the community.

Expectations

• Actively engaging and participating in the Card Game Development Team forum.
• Must be able to work to a deadline as this project will only run for 12 months with various development deadlines along the way.
• Be tactful and considerate when discussing ideas and suggestions from other members.

Time Commitment

Must be willing to spend ~4 hours a week at this position. The ability to check on the Card Game Development Board on a regular basis (at least once every other day) is a necessity for this position.​

Qualifications

• Must have been a member of TarValon.Net for at least 6 months. Open to any rank; citizen or above.
• Must be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Must enjoy card/table top games.

We need help with this, folks. You don't need to have any graphical/design talent. Just ideas on the design, balance, mechanics and flavor of the game is enough. And it is normal for now to not have any of these ideas, we will create them along the way.

I wish I had *any* sort of background with this but I've never even played a card game like this before. I've seen a game or two of like, MTG but I was more lost than a blind man at midnight on an unfamiliar mountain trail in mid december.
