Another six months gone; hard to believe, but here we are again. Many thanks to those who have served these past six months!
And now, I'm looking for a few good members who love chat to help us moderate our IRC offerings.

Even if you have never been an op anywhere before, please apply! To ensure that everyone’s on the same page and to ensure that all our ops are on the same page and have the necessary technical skills to do the job, our wonderful Master of Chat will be offering classes which every op needs to take at least once (though you’re always welcome to drop in for a refresher!).
If you would like to apply, please send an application to moderators@tarvalon.net and keeper@tarvalon.net detailing why you would like to be an op, why you think you would be good at it, and most importantly, what times you can be available as an op IN GMT (and here’s a handy converter). We need folks from across the world to cover all the various time zones our members operate in!
Applications must be received at moderators@tarvalon.net and keeper@tarvalon.net no later than September 28. I will be making hiring decisions immediately thereafter and terms will start on October 1.

- You must be someone who frequents chat regularly
- You must possess tact
- You must possess discretion

- Moderate the chat rooms and keep them family friendly
- Diffuse any flare-ups that might occur between members
- Enforce chat and Tower policies
