Many greetings from a sister who has been on the go and out in the world for a while. I'm Miya Kiyoshi. I started at the site back in 2010 when my daughter was two years old or so and I was fairly active for a few years. Then, life happened, and I haven't really been around since. My daughter is now a junior in high school (will be 17 this year!) and I was told things have been evolving around Tar Valon and I should poke my head back in.

I'm now living in my home state of Michigan, again. I'm working as a latchkey provider at an area school taking care of just over 50 children grades K-5. I'm going to be 47 this year. I'm married, like to read, play RPGs and video games (still), enjoy walks out in the forest when the weather is nice, visit the library, write stories when the mood takes me, and drink tea (because who doesn't love tea?)

I'll probably do the rounds on the forums and discord, maybe stick around a while (we'll see how long - no promises), and at least take some time to hear what you all think of the Amazon show. I know I'm not the only one watching and with thoughts! :)

I hope to see some old friends here and maybe make a few new ones. So... nice to meet you (again, if it's not the first time) and I look forward to chatting with you!

Ana Gaidin, Good to know I'm not the only one wandering back now. Nice to 'meet' one of our lady Gaidin. Aside from a few brief returns I haven't been around for many brothers joining ajahs nor ladies picking up the sword. I assume by now there are a good many of both!

Accepted Willow, good to 'meet' you, I feel like your name is familiar (runs to the library) SO IT IS! Okay. GREAT. Makes sense. I am not just getting old and losing all sense of time. ;)

Amreya, thank you for stopping to give me a welcome back to Tar Valon. I see you're a citizen, have you been part of the community long? Are you new because of the show or book series or both? Always nice to see new faces around town!

Alcyon Gaidin ((holds up hand to show you where then realizes you can't see the hand)) well, I was born in West Branch, went to college in Marquette - left the state for 25 years and lived in Misery...er... Missouri and now I'm back in beautiful Lake Orion "Where Living is a Vacation" or so they say. Mind the pot holes. Where you at?

Ajailyn *hugs* so good to see you still here too! Yes! I've retreated to the Mitten, back to the land of my birth. I've seriously missed the way this place feels - it just hits different. In the summer the air isn't on fire, ya know? I will miss *REAL* BBQ though. Damn shame they think putting hot dogs on the grill = BBQ here. Reasons to visit in the future though, right?

Karassa and I live in Westland and there are a few others in the area between Ann Arbor and Detroit. We often do a New Years party so we'll be sure to get you invited!
