Hello, inhabitants of this virtual White Tower! I’m Jaye Tayaan Mydor’rareah (jay te-yawn my-door-rare-uh)!
The most notable things about me are probably the fact that I’m a saxophonist, an amateur composer, a very big book worm, and that I’m genderfluid. This isn’t my first time joining a forum relating to a book series as I came from the 17th Shard, but this is quite a bit different from the Shard even just at a first glance, despite the obvious reason that it’s solely based off Wheel of Time.

Q: Who is your favorite character in The Wheel of Time and why?
A: If I had to pick one, I’d say it’s probably Mat.

Q: How did you find TarValon.Net?
A: I’m currently re-reading the Wheel of Time right now, and since it’s been about a year and a half since I first read it, I’ve forgotten a lot of things. So, when I wanted to try and remember something about a character, I’d just go and look it up in the Library.
Q: What do you do? (student? job? hobbies?)
A: Right now, I’m a Junior in highschool, and besides being a big book worm, I spend most of my time doing band or other music related things. For example, right now I’m writing a saxophone quartet piece for some of my very talented friends to play.
Q: Where are you from? What languages to you speak?
A: I’ve lived in Texas my whole life, so you would be right to assume I speak English. Though, I have been trying to learn a little Japanese, as one of my dreams would be to possibly teach English and music in Japan.
Q: What is your favorite book or author other than Robert Jordan and The Wheel of Time?
A: Cough, cough… Brandon Sanderson… cough, cough, and probably everything he’s written is my favorite.

Mainly cause I find the idea of having other peoples memories becoming so ingrained with your own you can’t determine between the two. And his gradual acceptance with that fact is very interesting to me for some reason. I also feel like he’s the perfect balance between Rand and Perrin in terms of realizing that people are going to follow him no matter what he does, because he doesn’t try to vehemently refute it like Perrin does for most of the series, but he doesn’t accept it as readily as Rand does. I also just really like how he was written in the last three books (but this might just be because I’m a diehard Brandon Sanderson fan…)

- Where does everyone here get all these great pfp’s?
- Do the pfp’s have to just be one character, because if I was an Aes Sedai, I’d definitely use Illusion’s to change my appearance depending on which gender I’m identifying as that day.
- I know this forum is really about RPing, but RPing is a pass time of mine, and I’ve always wanted an excuse to write my head cannon WoT character… so is there a place I can do that?
