Great Serpent Rings

I know that Badali are no longer making them, as they did not renew the licence for the Wheel of Time items, so what type of rings are people buying now?

I would to see them, and hear about where you got them.

I'm hoping someone will get licensed and they'll release official ones as soon as the show comes out. I tried to see if they might be already available, and did see that Juliya's forum post for "Aes Sedai ring" is on page 1 for "amazon wheel of time aes sedai ring" so yay.

I do like the look of them, but man they look BIG! But I am sure someone will get the licence to sell them, the studio would be crazy not to allow that kind of revue.

I have no doubt we'll see them for sale along with dishes and anything else they can stick the WoT logo on

What I would want it to be is a serpent biting its tail in an infinity sign and then folded in half to make it one circle. And then add an Ajah stone for the eyes. I haven't seen that though, and the rings I've found that are single-wrapped with a stone haven't been size-inclusive, so I'd probably need to find someone who would do it custom.

I've never seen one the way I imagined them when I first read the book either, Elania Sedai. I imagined the entire snake - infinity symbol on the front of the ring, just attached to a band, so that if you pressed it into wax as a seal, you'd see the figure 8 just like in the logo.

I bought a very cheap one off of Amazon recently. It was only $16 for two. And it ended up being super late (came from Hong Kong I think) so I got a refund. I gave one to my sister. They are quite big and I have big hands. My sister cut off a little bit so it could be narrower.

I got it because I wanted something in the interim before the official ones will go for sale.

I managed to snag a Badali one, but I've seen some very interesting ones on Etsy. And I would imagine there'll be more being listed there as well.....

It's not exactly the same, but I did find one in more of a signet style just now while I was browsing Etsy.

Oh, and this, which has the snake out front but not in an infinity. So also close but not quite.

Or this, but as a ring instead of a pendant. Maybe they take customs? The real thing I'm learning is that if you get past the first couple pages of repetitive content, you find new things.

Oooh I like the look of those. Now that my mind's been forced opened to Aes Sedai rings not just being the snake around the finger, I'd be okay with one of those.

In one of the recent trailers, it looked like the rings could kind of flip open and closed. Did anyone else catch that?

I looove the signet ring and the ring with the round snake on the top. After watching the latest Moiraine clip, I'm starting to like the larger rings more and more. No I didn't catch that, @Laralelle Susandrea. Was that is the Moiraine clip that came out recently?

Thanks Eleania, they are so purdy!

And I am not sure on my feelings of the new rings yet, I think I need to see them better in the show. But they look clumsy and like they would knock against everything. I preferred the idea they were more discreet and could fit under gloves easily.
