Dune Read-along

So, in preparation for the new Dune movie that’s coming out, it’s time for a re-read or a new read.

Have you read Dune before? Hop on in! Have you never read Dune but are intrigued by the trailers for the movie? You’re welcome too! Have you started reading it but got distracted by who knows what and think to yourself “I really need to finish this book”? Well, welcome to the club. Let’s help you finish it.

I’m open to however we want to do a read-through. Just wanted to get this thing started!

I'm in. I've read the book quite a few times through the years but not in at least 15 years or so, but I've never done the audio version so I think I'll go that route this time. I checked out the version on Audible and it has multiple narrators, several that I know I like, so I'm excited to listen.

I've been trying to get through it for years but finding an audio book version I can listen to have been difficult. Most have the version where different people reads the dialogue and that's just annoying.

I'll join if I can track down a better version.

Just a thought: I noticed that if you buy they Kindle version of the book you can add on the WhisperSync narration for an additional charge. I wonder if that might be a solution for you?

Thank you for the suggestion, Maibella Sedai, but alas. You get the audible version then and I had to return that one in the past as it's the version with multiple narrators. I've tried it twice but it's not working for me.
