"Veluene was part of a pretty active batch of newbies - from Novicehood to Accepted - and I had an inkling (and a hope) from the get-go that she would stay with us. I am really happy (and not a little bit smug) that she proved me right. She is Yellow in so many ways and brings her own flavour of it to our Ajah, and I am excited to welcome her to the shawl as a full Sister."

I'm struggling to think of something to say here because I just can't comprehend a Yellow that doesn't have Veluene in it. She's already part of our family, so let's make it official and get a shawl on her ? Absolutely! She embodies everything that is yellow! She fits so seamlessly into our group I'm surprised she hasn't been here longer Who is Veluene? What is Veluene? Why is Veluene? All answerers point to Yellow all the way!

She just belongs here. Happy to support her raising

I could not be happier to have her among the Yellow, and we are very blessed she puts up with us. A thousand times yes!

In the third post in Veluene's "welcome to the Yellow Sitting Room" thread, she had already been covered in Yellow glue. Even before she guested with us, we knew there was a potential we'd get to keep her. We're all so glad and honored that she chose us for her home, and I can't wait until we have another Sister!

Oh my goodness this was the best surprise!! It caught me off guard in the best way possible 💛

Thank you everyone so much for the congratulations, and most of all my fellow amazing Yellows who have accepted me as I am. For me the Ajah is the perfect mix of fierceness, empathy and sass, and I was made to feel at home from the very first video chat, what seems like ages ago now. I feel so proud and humbled to be now officially a Yellow Sister and I hope to make you all proud!
