Across our community, many of our members have been asking for increased transparency. This is not a simple thing to do when there’s much you have to catch up on, but it is worth the effort regardless. We have heard these requests and we are implementing several policies and processes to make transparency a more regular occurrence without overburdening our volunteers.
Some of these policies and processes you have already seen. The Moderators are publicly sharing disciplinary actions taken along with a brief explanation of the event. The Board is posting summaries of meetings of community interest.
Linked below you will find the next instance of transparency the community has been asking for on several topics including but not limited to the dissolution of Mediation, a recent ban, and claims of harassment.
This will not be the final document shedding light on community concerns; it is simply the first.
